Welcome to Omar's Kitchen & Cafe! We purchased the catering building in Kasson in 2008 and opened the cafe in West Concord in 2010. We have been married for 27 years and have raised a family with varied culinary experience.  Some of our kids work with us full time, others fill in when needed, but everyone pitches in.

The cafe, catering, concessions and the Rochester Downtown Farmer's Market keep us very busy. Understand this is our passion; we are living the dream!

Chef Omar Feyen started out at the Plantation Restaurant in Moline, IL when he was 14 years old. Moving throughout the ranks there, ended up as one of the chefs before moving on. He has been all over the country in a variety of venues from convention centers and racetracks to restaurants and hotels. He is a legend in his own mind, just ask him!  (He does actually have a lot of awards to back it up!) He moved to Rochester in 1999 for the executive chef job at the Kahler Grand Hotel.

Lori Feyen also has a vast hospitality background; ranging from owning a fine dining restaurant on the mighty Mississippi to being the food service director at an assisted living residence in Rochester.
